New blog design

I’ve had a default theme on this blog for awhile now. This was for a few reasons. I had hoped that a student from my web design class would take on the redesign as a project. That did not happen.

Since then I’ve been kind of busy, what with the new job and all. I know that some people will be only reading this blog through an RSS reader, so they may not see the new design. But I do encourage you to take a look and tell me what you think.

jasoneiseman.com and jasoneiseman.com/blog are my brand websites, and they had remained under default settings for far too long. jasoneiseman.com will be the next part of this site that gets a makeover. It will serve as a sort of lifestream hosted at my personal website. So, I think phase 1 is sort of finished and I’ll keep working on other aspects of the site.

LOVE the new design, Jason! It is professional but still personable. Very clean and readable. I haven’t looked through the whole thing yet but look forward to doing so. Well done.

    Cheers,
    Connie

Very nicely done! My only suggestion would be to make the post column a little narrower for quick reading, but then I read in Bloglines most of the time.

Huge thanks for using font that isn’t so small it makes me feel geriatric!

Interesting new design. Don’t dislike it but I think I need to pend more time on it to get a better feel. It has been a while since I have checked my feeds so I am just catching up now :s
